2019
Fund Launch started in 2019 with two people working from a basement in Salt Lake City. They launched the Investment Fund Secrets podcast. The podcast gave aspiring managers an insiders look at how funds work. It gave Fund Launch its first audience.
2020
Listeners soon asked for direct help. In 2020, Fund Launch opened its first Mastermind for aspiring and emerging fund managers. Members joined weekly webinars and talked through real problems with the team. The curriculum changed as members asked better questions and the team learned where new managers got stuck.
2021
Fund Launch passed its first $1 million revenue milestone in 2021. That year, 150 fund managers met at the Utah Jazz arena for the first in-person Black Card summit. Many had only known one another through a screen. The summit put them in the same room for the first time.
2022
Fund Launch reached $10 million in revenue in 2022 and held its first Fund Launch Live in Las Vegas. The event drew 1,200 people for practical sessions on the work required to build and operate a fund. Members and the Fund Launch team met in person to discuss the problems that had come up in weekly calls.
2023
Fund Launch reached $25 million in revenue in 2023. The second Fund Launch Live brought 2,000 people to Miami. That year, the company introduced the Wall Street Rebel award, a name tied to its mission to democratize Wall Street. Fund Launch clients reported $4.8 billion in combined assets under management (AUM).
2024
Fund Launch reached $35 million in revenue in 2024. The third Fund Launch Live brought 1,700 people to Orlando. That year, the company launched Alt Street, a free education site for people interested in alternative investing. Alt Street publishes interviews with investors and fund managers at no cost to viewers. All the free courses including Alt St have reached 141,000 members.
2025
Fund Launch reached $45 million in revenue in 2025 and ranked No. 2652 on the Inc. 5000. Utah Business named Mason Vranes to its 20 in Their 20s list. The company also released Fund Launch 360, software that helps managers track investor relationships and fund operations.

As of August 2026, Fund Launch members reported capital raises across the ranges shown above. Clients also reported $7.1 billion in combined assets under management (AUM).
